Charleston, S.C., artist Dorothy Netherland has delivered a batch of new paintings to if ART Gallery. The paintings all are on the backs of three panes of glass, using acrylic, screenprint, ink transfer, glass etching and occasionally sharpies and paint pens. Images of the mural-in-progress on Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Vista Studios in Columbia, S.C., for Columbia/Kaiserslautern: The International (Mural) Project, an if ART Gallery exhibition at Gallery 80808/Vista Studios, October 5 - 16, 2012. The mural will become the centerpiece of the exhibition. Working this day are Columbia artists Mary Gilkerson, Tonya Gregg and Mike Williams and Kaiserslautern's Klaus Hartmann.
